I have been through these documents. While they are very good for assembly, they do not have enough detail to order the correct parts. I think that I have found a spec sheet on the capacitors, but there are differing voltages. 100, 500, 1000 volts - and to add insult, the spec sheet shows that 500V and 1000V caps are green. 

I was hoping to hear from Gerd as the email address that was in those documents is bouncing.

Looks like silver mica caps.  I can look at mine.  The caps are all green surface mount.  At the end of the document is an organized BOM.  Unfortunately, no actual part numbers from any named supplier.  Perhaps you can contact Gerd and see if he can supply that information.

PS: My atlas bus system with a Hercules, mostly built (the Hercules is
built...) is available, but not cheaply.  I'd rather donate it to a university ham club than scrap anything like that...
