[hpsdr] Stuff that was going to Xenia.

Hi Jeff,
I just happened to see your email asking for a Mercury. That reminded me of
what I have, and have ignored for so many years.
When the project was new I wanted to put together the rx capability, mainly
for use as a spectrum analyzer. However the USB board (original, slower
version) had been sold out. I ordered the blank USB board and all the
components for that board. However, I was already getting old, and it was
extremely difficult to solder the surface mount components with my shaky
hands. My project slowed down and stopped entirely. The other parts just
sitting in a box along with the partly built USB card include: Mercury in
unopened bag. Backplane kit, not built. Linear power supply kit, not built.
I have sometimes noticed that the new USB board was available for purchased,
but I never got around to it. At this point I am interested in selling all
the parts I have for this project, preferably as a package. Hmm, I see some
of the cards are still available new, at discounted prices. Apparently the
Mercury is not, and I don't remember what it used to sell for. I believe the
USB board is undamaged and viable for someone willing to complete the
assembly, but since it is the old slower version, I would sell it very
cheaply.
73,
Erik K7TV

matching enclosure with RX band pass filters by eb104 and has Gerd's RX TX
switching also. This station can be completed with another Hercules 100W amp
in a matching enclosure or a 300W eb104 amp. The Hermes station and Hercules
amp are all in matching Hamond enclosures. 300 Watt amp is in custom
enclosure.
