[hpsdr] Thetis v2.8.11 with Hermes.

Has anyone, using this combination, noticed that on TX the Thetis Fwd Pwr
shows about 35W?
This is with the General -> H/W Select -> Hardware - Alex box unticked so
this should not
happen.
Also get over SWR warnings which can be stopped by unticking SWR protection
in the Alex
tab but Alex should not be active with its box unticked?
After some investigation I found the following line of code in setup.cs:
//    console.AlexPresent = chkAlexPresent.Checked;
Removing the "//" from the start of the line and recompiling the code has
resolved the problem!
I cannot see any reason this line has been commented out? as the checkbox
is there to
enable/disable Alex.
I realise that most people won't notice this, especially those that have
Alex or equivalent.
However a friend G3KOM who is going to use his Hermes to drive a 2m
transverter was rather
concerned about this erroneous power output reading...

I wonder if anyone can tell me why the Alex tickbox has been rendered
inactive?
