[hpsdr] Some thoughts on plug-in board layout

Okay,

I went back a re-read Phils earlier post, and studied his drawing again.

The smallest board is 120 mm wide and 100 mm tall.

Phil shows that Atlus is 100 mm wide. From the edge of Atlus, we move 15 mm out into the area known as "external connector area". This sets the datum. Then the card is 120 mm wide from this datum.

Let me go back and revise my drawing.

If the DIN plug is centered in the middle of this card, and set it there, and then extend the PCB in the direction of the "external connector area" we add 15 mm more. But this 15 mm is not taken into account for the card size? This confuses me. This card then is 115 mm wide by 100 mm tall.
