[hpsdr] Mercury: Insertion loss of analog HF filters

Phil!

I'll also add my request for separate input, as well as careful
consideration and RFQ for other 'inside world' connections, if feasible, on
both Pen and Merc. Can be Bergs coming right off the board, as test points,
smx?

If you look at my 'lead-in' to the SDR-Dayton Forum, this is pretty much
exactly where I was coming from.

Thanks
Eric

Thanks for all the feedback on this topic. Penelope all ready provides
access
directly to the DAC output so you can connect external filters etc or use
the
alias outputs for VHF/UHF use.

We will look at adding a similar feature to Mercury.
