I'm pretty sure the answer is "yes, if someone wants
it badly enough to figure out how" however it might
not be possible (at least in windows) to do it while
using libusb to handle the low-level IO.

Also, writing a windows sound card driver may not be
fun.

But it does seem like it would be useful.
