Hi Phil,
thanks for the answer.
For my understanding: how are you going to feed the I2C signals on both Alex
RX and TX - 2 connectors on the ribbon cable?
Where is J2 on Alex with the analog signals FWD/REF PWR connected to?

Hi Gerd,
If it is already a digital signal at say 0-3v then you could connect it
directly to a spare pin(s) on the Atlas bus. The currently used pins are in
SVN under
/trunk/Atlas/Atlas to Janus V2 - OzyV2-Penelope Interface.xls.
It they are analogue signals then you could use some of the spare four ADC
inputs on Penelope at either P4 or J6.
The Forward and Reflected power signals from the Alex LPF filter board will
be available on the ribbon connector that connects Alex to Mercury. From
Mercury you will be able to jumper across to Penelope to pick up the ADC and
hence monitor Fwd/Ref volts and then calculate Power out, Z, SWR etc on
the PC. With 100w out of Alex the log corrected directional coupler will
read down to 100mW. This can be set lower if you want to run your PA below
the 100w level.
