The Softrock group buy parts are SI570CAC000141DG [CMOS spec 10 - 160MHz] and SI570BBC000141DG [LVDS spec 10 - 215MHz]. Anyone really planning to use the Si570 at 1126MZ should set up a SI570BBAxxxxxxDG at 1126MHz those 'A' parts are spec at 10-945MHz, 970 - 1134, and 1213 - 1417.5MHz. Silicon Labs will send out 2 free samples in about 3 weeks time. The Softrock parts will function but may not meet all noise and drift specs. Also see US Patent US7288998 for info beyond the datasheets. If anyone is interested in calculators for the setup values in the Softrock parts I have several files in VB6 and Excel-VBA in the Yahoo Groups file sectionhttp://groups.yahoo.com/group/softrock40/files/K9IVB-Si570/All of these files have N1 = 1 disabled for code simplicity, thus will not handle frequencies above about 440 MHz. If there is any interest I could add the code to one or more programs - or just use the Silicon Labs 570EVB software. 73, Dick K9IVB> From: phil at pharman.org> To: johan.maas at hetnet.nl> Date: Wed, 2 Jul 2008 20:22:07 +0800> CC: hpsdr at lists.hpsdr.org> Subject: Re: [hpsdr] si570> > ***** High Performance Software Defined Radio Discussion List *****> > I've been using Bill's code to set up the Si570 2nd Local Oscillator > (1126MHz) on Cyclops from Ozy.
