Dear All,

I've just been searching the Windows 7 Driver Kit (WDK) and note that there
are newer WinUSB files there with newer versions than Albero prepared.
Perhaps the 64 bit issues are somehow due to this difference!

There are only 2 files in each architecture directory (x86 for 32 bit,
amd64 for amd and intel 64 bit x86 processors, and ia64 for the unobtainable
Intel Itanium 64 bit architecture). One has a normal name and the other has
a similar name with a '_chk' suffix, likely indicating that it is for a
'checked' build of the OS, which none of us really install.

Let me try hacking the .inf file and see if I can get an installer that will
work, using these newer coinstaller files, and then see if Hermann DL3HVH
has better luck with those! I'll try it on my Windows XP 32 bit system
first, just to make sure that it at least superficially works.

Vy 73,
Holiday greetings,

George K9TRV
