[hpsdr] I2C write error with Mercury and Penelope

Thanks for the reply Phil - that clears things up for me. Also noted about 
the work on the PowerSDR 192kHz issue and thanks for the great work so far. 
Incidentally, when I plug Janus into slot 3 (to make sure the errors went 
away) the receiver starts doing weird things, like the noise floor 
periodically jumps up by about 80dB. When I unplug Janus this issue goes 
away completely.
