[hpsdr] A view from the periphery.

Regarding recent events, I am purely an end user and hence very much at
the periphery of things, but I did wonder how it was that one man could
position himself in the HPSDR not for profit group whilst at the same
time producing a commercial version of the same product. It seemed to
be a tenure that at some point would become unsustainable; however it is
sad to see people whom compared to oneself are so clever, acting in what
appears to be a petulant manner. It never ceases to surprise me when
such admirable people have feet of clay just like mine.

That said, the HPSDR project remains as admirable as ever and is well
worth sticking with and pursuing into the long-term. I was reminded of
this last night when after a sustained period of HPSDR use I returned to
my FT-847 and felt as if one arm had been cut off and one eye put out.
Without a shadow of doubt, software defined radio is the future, and I
feel privileged to be able to enjoy that future now.

Now then, an appeal to the clever people, when is the BlasterBineries
update going to make the transition from beta to regular use? I'm
really looking forward to the next update and being able to unleash the
full potential of this wonderful kit.
