I too was very disappointed to read about Phil N8VB's removal from this
reflector and subsequent related actions.  This does not sit well and
does not bode well for the continued future of this group.  

I feel I have benefited from Phil's contributions immensely and have
always enjoyed reading his comments here.  I was under the impression
that there was enough "bandwidth" here to accommodate occasional
differences of opinion and the healthy debate that results: such debate
being the lifeblood of a groups such as this (and something that this
group has been able to do without the flames, etc that are so common in
other groups). Apparently that is not the case.  

In any event, some explanation of the actions taken is certainly in
order.
