As I replied privately to Phil, this was my trip-up. I was not aware that
the silkscreen labels for the Mercury LEDS was backwards. I've been staring
at LED7 (labeled D4) for a few days, trying to wish it on. Sure enough, LED4
(labeled D7) was on the whole time.
So, Mercury V2.9 is working fine here with Excalibur, showing a proper 10
MHz lock. I used a blue wire from the common end of D18 to the upper pin of
J8 on Mercury. This brings the Atlas C16 10 MHz signal into the AUX_CLK
input of the FPGA. This eliminates the need for the coax jumper from
Excalibur originally described by Phil.
