[hpsdr] Need Help Setting Up a SVN Download of PowerSDR 2.2.3

Pete:
I got things working but I still need some help. I deleted the C:\HPSDR|PennyMerge
directory structure called out in Step 1 of the PowerSDR Software Installation
procedure and reinstalled it anew. Now I can find the file SVN Checkout in the
PennyMerge folder (I wonder if I had an extra "e" in PenneyMerge?)

Following steps 2 and 3 of the procedure, I right clicked on PennyMerge and selected
SVN Checkout. I then typed the address given into the URL of repository field:
  "svn://svn.openhpsdr.org/svn/repos_adr_windows/PowerSDR/branches/kd5tfd/PennyMerge/bin/Release"

I got an "Unable to connect to a repository at URL" message which I expected. I then
entered the current address given by Dave Larsen:

The downloading started. But I got file after file after file! More than I expected.
A typical file downloaded was "C:\HPSDR\PennyMerge\trunk\Ozy V1.2\Ozy_Janus.sim.rpt.
After some 250Mb of downloads I called a halt to the procedure. I don't know
what kind of a checkout was going on or how long it lasts. Is this normal?

The procedure says that TortoiseSVN should be downloading the most current version
of the PowerSDR client for HPSDR. Is this a checkout or a download? How do I tell
it what to download?

Other questions:
The procedure says once the download completes go to step 4. These is
no step 5. Only steps 1 and 2.

The procedure also says to copy the files to a working directory for better
version control. Where are the files located so I can copy them?

Maybe answers to these questions will give me a better idea about what is going on.

Thanks to everyone,
Bob K4QQK
