[hpsdr] USB Audio and OT Strange interference

I do not normally look for audio from USB, I run output from Mercury direct to headphones.
While troubleshooting an interence problem last night I hooked up system via USB on OZY to my notebook to see if intererence was comming from little Atom PC. Not wanting to disturb the cables on rig I thought I would look for signal comming from USB connection. In the mixer setup I see Pwrsdr identified as a mixer input and it is enabled but I do not get any audio from internal speakers.
Since I hve never looked at this before I do not know if it is an issue to worry about. For grins I enabled VAC in Pwrsdr and it froze saying too many ports open. Seems starnge as I believe this is normal method to pass data to one of the digital programs if I remember correctly.
Awny whoooo I have a Lenevo with on board Realteck card.
Not an issue for me but maybe in future any wisdom from group?

Off Topic
The real issue now, when I Xmit on 40 meters with more that 10 watts or so when returning to rx my noise floor goes up dramiticaly about abt 30 dB! The issue is not in the rig as I can see the noise in other receivers in shack. If I do several short bursts the noise will eventually disappear. It has to be something in my house or neighborhood getting updset, I have turned off power to all motion detector lights and no help. Next step will be to turn off all power in house and see if the source is at neighbors house. If mine it is one breaker at a time to isolate culprit.

Has anyone seen this before? Answer could point me in a direction and possibly avoid talking to neighbor who does not like my tower anyway!
