Hi all.

Maybe a stupid suggestion / idea:

If I understand this problem a little, the only problem seems to be
about some I/O-pins having different functions on Gerd's Mercury-EU card?
How many pins are we talking about?

If not too many pins are involved, wouldn't it be smarter to do a
(simple?) hardware modification / re-arrangement of these pins/functions
to solve this "incompatibility" once and for all?

Sorry if I have this wrong.....

73's,

Henry - PA0HJA.
