Phil,

I am not questioning the value of KISS.  I know you use it, as do a very
select few others.  

I have used it as a base for what I have done and gotten considerable
enjoyment from it.  

What I do question is how many people are using it as a learning tool and
how many find it simple.  I also wonder how many are using it as their
control software.  If it is only being used by a selective few to test new
features, then its purpose is different than implied.
