[hpsdr] Can't get ghpsdr3-alex to see Metis

I have the same problem running ghpsdr. I run the binary as ./ghpsdr 
--metis --interface eth0, and I get the same results as with 
ghpsdr3-alex: it properly identifies the IP and MAC addresses of eth0, 
but cannot find Metis.
