[hpsdr] PTT problem and error in V1.8 User manual ?

Just been setting up my Hermes to work with my desk mic.

Audio works fine but PTT doesn't.

I have mic audio on the tip along with bias by setting JP4 linked 2-3 and
JP5 also linked 2-3.

For the PTT line on the ring of the 3.5mm plug the user handbook says to
link 1-3 of JP6, not only is this hard to do it is also wrong :-)

To use the PTT signal on the 3.5mm ring it should be linked 1-2 as verified
by the schematic.

I have done this and noted that the PTT voltage goes from 3.3V to zero when
keyed and measured at pin 1 of JP6 - as expected.

However the Hermes does not go into transmit mode - am I missing something
here ?
I've checked the setup on PowerSDR but not found anything yet - the only
way I can get it to TX is by using the keyboard space bar.

Any suggestions ?

Other than this minor problem - a brilliant piece work.
