Your Motherboard vendor may also be a good source of the most modern 
drivers.

You may find that one of the OpenGL utilities will tell you more about 
your current configuration capabilities. I like to use GLview 4.1 from 
http://www.realtech-vr.com/glview/

Have you tested your SDR Transceiver on 12 or lower voltage to be sure 
it will operate properly in that environment? you may need to look into 
Battery Voltage boosters that are available to regulate your supply 
voltage at 13.8 or 14.1vdc.
