Hi Tony.
Munin is primary made to be used with a HPSDR TX, either Hermes, Penelope
or Penny-Lane. This is without the first stage installed. If you install
the first stage, the drive can be as low as 0 dBm for full 100W output.
I am using Hermes (or Penny) as the test signal. There is a 2-tone signal
generator built in, under setup- test-Two Tone Test.
By using the Gain By Band you can set the needed drive level from the TX.
Normally the GBB setting will be in the range from 46-58 dB. This
corresponds to a power of around 20 (13 dBm) to 200 mW (23 dBm), highest
on 6 meter. See http://k9ivb.net/munin2/ There is a file (Munin
Tests.zip) with different figures. One of them shows the input impedance
measured with a Network Analyser. Also read the text file.
I have not found a method to measure the output impedance, may be someone
else can describe that?

Dear All,
My Munin is ready to test – waiting for the Dummy load to arrive within a
couple of days. Some teething problem with the heat spread and the heat
sink which has been sorted somehow
Few things I was trying to find:-
What is the min. power require to drive and what driving power it will
give an output of 100 watt so that accordingly I can set my Signal
Generator
How I can measure the Input and Output Impedance of RF amplifier
In the post I can see many having gain issues in particular band – do we
need to revive the specs of the components – Anybody made any changes in
the circuit or component value – Please share in the forum
