[hpsdr] Hermes start-up problem

Still having trouble getting my second Hermes to run.

All the debug LEDs D10-D19)light on power-up and stay lit except D12 and D16 slow flash. On my working Hermes, all these LEDs light momentarily on power-up, then go off except one flashing, followed shortly by two others flashing.

On the non-working Hermes board, I can load code using the USB blaster or by using the HPSDRBootloader. Using HPSDRBootloader, I can read the MAC and IP addresses with a jumper on J12. I can also set the IP address. However, when I remove the jumper on J12 and power cycle the Hermes board, I can no longer connect to the board to do anything.

All power LEDs are on and the heartbeat LED flashes.

It appears that the board is hung up in the power-up reset and initialization. Any suggestions on how to track this down?

The Metis document on the Ethernet interface mentions a "Tx_Reset" that controls the initial reset on power-up. I can't find this term anywhere in the Hermes schematics. What is the equivalent Hermes term?

Thanks,
Don
