Hello, and I THANK YOU for your reply and comments!

On the Apache web site, I was only able to locate firmware and PSDR
versions 3.0 and 3.2.19. This is where I downloaded the newest versions
from, when I upgraded from from my previous 2.2 and 3.2.17 to 2.9, then
3.0 and 3.2.19.

I was able to locate firmware versions 2.5, 2.7 and 2.9 on the Yahoo
user group web site.

I downloaded them all, just so I'd have them all on hand.

I just installed firmware 2.7, and without a restart, the "sometimes
no-RF issue" has apparently gone away!!! (So I am now running 2.7 and
3.2.19, at this point.)

I have just restarted the computer, and I will see if the issue is still
allowing my PTT actions to result in a CONSISTENT RF OUTPUT every time I
press the PTT. (I am hopeful!)

So, I am wondering if I _re-applied firmware 3.0_, would this fresh load
possibly resolve the issue..? Going back to 2.7 sure has made a change,
for some reason! Also, many, MANY folks have been running 3.0/3/2/19
with total satisfaction and success, so I feel that the products, as
presented, and just fine!
