Session text follows
20:48:29> *** You are now talking in channel: "OpenHPSDR"
21:00:42> "Mike - AA8K": I may disappear. We are under a severe
thunderstorm with high winds and heavy rain.
21:07:04> "Greg ZL3IX": Any activity on the Penelope front Phil
(equalising Tx and Tune levels) ?
21:08:05> "Phil-VK6PH": Not as yet Greg, need to get further on
the new Protocol first.
21:15:35> "Ken N9VV": Get that man an SVN dir in the tree <g>
21:17:36> "Erik KM2G": after a while would something like Git be
better for this kind of collaboration?
21:24:37> "Jae - K5JAE": I do like git!
21:24:48> "Jae - K5JAE": github.org?
21:25:37> "Erik KM2G": separate question. one downside is that
if people don't post their work someplace public then we don't
see what they've been working on
21:25:49> "Dave - KV0S": I use Git as well, Jeremy provides the
svn from the tapr server
21:26:24> "Dave - KV0S": Jeremy may have a dual svn git server
running
21:28:38> "Dave - KV0S": The main svn is for software
distribution and I have had croble with user pulling down svn
directory and asking why some bit does not compile when it is
old code I just want to keep.
21:29:30> "Jae - K5JAE": Dave: makes sense. I was wondering why
there were binaries in the source tree ;)
21:29:31> "Dave - KV0S": work in progress can be stored in other
places we just have people trained to look at this svn for the
working code
21:31:50> "Dave - KV0S": Jae that binaries were my idea as the
website pulls files from the svn. I was going nuts keep up with
all the developers so I just ask the developer to put code in
specific places and feed it to the download page with minimal delay
21:37:53> "Erik KM2G": Is there a reason why the Win32
CreateEvent is being used? C# has an EventWaitHandle...
21:50:06> "Ken N9VV": Jetson is supposed to have "Unified
Memory" as a new feature with low laaatency and shared memory
22:01:52> "Jae - K5JAE": this looks interesting: www.yeppp.info
