Chris,
In your case, you can drop that project from the solution.  But I need to keep it in the
Windows solution, so that I can have a single solution that builds KISS and its installer
for Windows.

It is also true on Linux, and on Windows if you use the Visual Studio Express (no
extensions like WiX are allowed), or don't have/want WiX installed.
