Scott, 

Thanks.  That’s not my experience at all.  I normally have ADC2 selected for RX2 in the Setup > ADC menu as my default and never have to touch the RX2 button to bring up Diversity mode. 

I wonder if you were to set the ADC assignment as above then exit HPSDR PowerSDR so that the new setting gets written into the database.xml file, then bring up HPSDR PowerSDR again if you still need to use the RX2 button to bring up Diversity mode when running HPSDR PowerSDR?

It's almost as if diversity does not know to use ADC2 for RX2 until RX2 has been cycled on to off at least once.
