I have been there on last Saturday (in Friedrichshafen).
There have been several presentations on the SDR topics.
Kjell already mentioned the lively and sometimes heated discussion on
the HPSDR session. The discussion centered on the PA linearisation and
the new direct Fourier transformation concept. The most interesting idea
which came up was the use of additional low bandwith (up to 96 kHz)
receivers on the overtone frequences for reducing the overtones produced
by the PA. Using this idea one could extend the existing PureSignal
algorithm.
There has been a full day presentation track called The SDR Academy on
the various aspects of the SDR technology. In this track one could
participate on several interesting presentations, like:
The generations of SDR architectures from Michael, DK5HH
HiQSDR and R2T2 from Helmut, DB1CC
SDR transmitter linearisation from Harald, DL2SAX
API and communication protocol for FLEX 6000 from Gerald, K5SDR
GNU radio, from Marcus Muller, ETTUS
The use of Xilinx Zynq chip and the Zedboard for SDR from Stefan, DC9ST
Passive radar using the signals of GSM satellites from Martin, PA1SDR
OpenWebRX, and open source websdr server software from András, HA7ILM.
On the marketplace you could buy or test a lot of different SDR
equipments. The ANAN transceiver were present there.
