[hpsdr] Older Power SDR download.

Hi Dean,

The SVN repository is active and in use. The W5WC branch contains the current HPSDR PowerSDR version and a few older HPSDR PowerSDR versions:

http://svn.tapr.org/repos_sdr_hpsdr/trunk/W5WC

but I don’t know if there exists a comprehensive archive of all older versions of PowerSDR that have been used on the HPSDR platforms from day one. If there is I don’t know where it is, perhaps someone can inform us if it does exist. The link above has only a couple of versions and I think the earliest there is only about a year old.

Note that there is no version of HPSDR PowerSDR that “requires” Metis as all previous and current versions of HPSDR PowerSDR are compatible with Ozy as well as with Metis.

However, as you are aware, later versions of HPSDR PowerSDR are not compatible with early versions of HPSDR firmware for any of the platforms/boards, for several reasons including major changes in communications protocol and, in your particular case, Atlas bus assignments. Therefore, it is recommended that you use the latest firmware for Mercury (v3.4) and Penny (v1.8) and the latest version of HPSDR PowerSDR (v3.3.6.0) for your boards.

HPSDR PowerSDR, of course, contains the appropriate Ozy firmware that that version of HPSDR PowerSDR in it (automatically) for your Ozy board and loads the Ozy firmware automatically each time you bring Ozy up with PowerSDR running.

Hope this helps some.
