[hpsdr] Where to inject sub audible tone for repeater access into Janus card?

I have a transverter for two meters for the SDR 1000. I have the signal
generator already setup along with the proper logic to provide tones on
transmit. Can I inject the signal into the "Line Input" on the Janus card
or is this the wrong idea?

Any help would be appreciated!
