The complaint was not the use of expensive labor but that some places have
40% or even 100% import tariffs.  A person living in India has to pay over
$300 import duty which could be eliminated if the board were produced
locally.

One question for someone in India:   Do you pay import tariffs for imported
parts?  If so then not much is saved if it is assembled locally if the bulk
of the price is parts

I don't care much about this but only wanted to clarify the issue is
import tariff not labor cost.
