I am not entirely sure what this has to do with the topic at hand.
Regardless, I hope you are satisfied with your decision.

I am sorry to hear that. Certainly it was very clear to me from the very
beginning that the products from Apache Labs were going to be less
"commercial" than offerings from other companies. And it does seem to me
that, if one has physical limitations one should not pick a product for
which those physical limitations are going to pose a problem for normal
operation. And I do think it unfair that, if there is a conflict between
your abilities and the support for the product, something that was clear
from the beginning, you should then insist that the manufacturer adapt to
your mistake.

I have a right to be the kind of SDR user I want to be, and you do not have

You certainly have the right to do what you want to do. What you do not
have have right to do is to demand that a manufacturer do things the way
you think is best and then presume to speak for me and/or anyone else.
After repeated attempts by myself (and others) to quietly point out that
you are annoying me with your assumptions I became just a bit more direct.
And yet you persist.

I pity your lack of civility and education.

Thank you. I want you to know how just how much your pity means to me!

By the way, Brian, did you ever put up antenna at your new home?

Yes. I have an antenna at my new home, thank you. Again, this has nothing
to do with what we are talking about.

Finally, Brian, I don´t believe the purpose of this list is to discuss the

Sometimes when someone insists on pushing a point beyond reasonable limits,
someone else must be blunt to see if it is possible to get the point across
that they are not particularly interested in hearing the original point
repeated yet again. For me (and apparently others) you have passed the
point of civility and into the realm of being a "troll". But perhaps you
didn't realize that. Hopefully this message is sufficiently clear that you
will see what I and others have been trying to tell you for some time.

You insist on berating (regardless of what nice words you use) Apache for
their support model because it does not conform to your own ideas of how
support should be run. I, and some others, have suggested that if you don't
like it, you should do business with another company that better conforms
to your model rather than to force your ideas on Apache or the rest of us.
I am now going to suggest that you start your own company to make SDR
radios that conforms to your desired support model. That way you can be in
full control and you will be happy.

Going back to aviation for an analogy, what you are doing is tantamount to
the person who knowingly moves next door to an airport and then complains
vociferously about the presence of airplane noise. You purchased a radio
that is clearly not a fully-supported commercial product but now you are
complaining vociferously that the support is inadequate. And so my response
is simple ...

    ...well, duh!

What I have found here, has always been, fraternal cordiality among

Me too ... most of the time.
